Two things...
1) I just watched my recording of CBS' showing of the premiere of Veronica Mars and I am now kicking myself for not watching it from the beginning. I went trolling Amazon.com, but the damn DVDs don't come out until October. What's up with that? Don't ya think they should have it come out a bit before the 2nd season comes out so people could catch up? To make matters worse CBS is showing them completely out of order, and UPN is no where near where I need to be. Can anyone help me out with a link to download episodes or know of someone who can help me out with dvds of the season? I already preordered the dvds from Amazon, but I'd rather not wait until after season 2 starts.
2) Why am I pretty much the only one watching Rockstar:INXS? It's like AI except even the worst contestant is about a 1000x better then the majority of the AI people. I'm not knocking AI because I am a huge Kelly Clarkson fan, but so much of that show is painful to watch. Also, they have the rights to songs that are actually good. Not the same 12 songs over and over again. And for the most part the judges (INXS and Dave Navarro) are constructive with their criticism, not drugged like Paula, repetitive like Randy, or mean like Simon. Anyway, RS:INXS is doing well in the demos, but not so hot in the overall which is a real bummer. VH1 is taking over the Monday, in house, episode, and starting next week they'll be playing repeats of the performance and elimination shows as well. I'm hoping they may show a marathon of the previous weeks and attract more viewers to the show. I'm gonna cross my fingers because I want more people to talk about Jordis, the Farriss brothers, and Garry Gary "Mary Cherry" Beers.
